This book will focus on how to trend complaint, service, inspection and other quality data to detect issues that should be investigated and as part of these investigations.  It also covers how to put together an effective trending program that also reduces the incidents of false detections. The book will cover selecting the right tool, normalizing data, grouping data, and preliminary investigations of signals.

It will explain STAT-11, Statistical Techniques for Trending Data, of the book Statistical Procedures for the Medical Device Industry.

It will cover the content of the 1-day course Trending of Quality Data.
