Clipboard
A common resource used by all windows programs for sharing information. Copying and cutting information from a program places this information into the clipboard. Pasting retrieves information from the clipboard. Using this feature, a graphic or table can be copied from Sampling Plan Analyzer and then pasted into Word or PowerPoint. Use the Paste menu item on the Edit menu of these programs to perform the paste operation.
The same information can be placed into the clipboard in multiple formats. Plots are placed in the clipboard in graphics format. Tables are placed in the clipboard in both graphic format and text format. This allows the data to be pasted into a wider range of programs.
