Definitions of AQL and LTPD Dialog Box

Used to specify definitions for AQL and LTPD.

AQL: Probability of Acceptance Edit Box:  The AQL typically has a high probability of acceptance.  Typical values are 0.99, 0.95 and 0.9.  The recommended value is 0.95.

LTPD: Probability of Acceptance Edit Box:  The LTPD typically has a low probability of acceptance.  Typical values are 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1.  The recommended value is 0.1.

Symbol to Use List Box:  You can select any of the symbols LTPD, LQ, RQL or UQL to represent the LTPD.

As you change the values, the confidence statements that can be made are updated.  When done, click the OK button or press the Enter key to save the definitions and close the dialog box.  Clicking the Cancel button or pressing the Esc key instead restores the definitions to their former values and closes the dialog box.

Clicking the Save As Defaults button makes the displayed values the defaults values to be used for any new sessions.  These values are stored in the system registry.  However, the displayed values will not be applied to the current session unless you also press the OK button.

Clicking the Set to Defaults button sets the displayed values to the current default values.  Again, the displayed values will not be applied to the current session unless you also press the OK button.

This dialog box is displayed by selecting the Definitions of AQL and LTPD menu item from the Options menu.
