Units for Defective Units and Defects Per Unit Dialog Box

Used to specify units for the characteristics defective units and defects per unit.

Units For Defective Units Radio Buttons: For the characteristics defective units you can specify fraction defective, percent defective or defectives per million units.

Units For Defects Per Unit Radio Buttons: For the characteristics defects per unit you can specify defects per unit,defects per hundred units and defects per million units.

Once the options have been specified, click the OK button or press the Enter key to save the units and close the dialog box. Clicking the Cancel button or pressing the Esc key instead restores the units to their former values and closes the dialog box.

Clicking the Save As Defaults button makes the displayed values the defaults values to be used for any new sessions. These values are stored in the system registry. However, the displayed values will not be applied to the current session unless you also press the OK button.

Clicking the Set to Defaults button sets the displayed values to the current default values. Again, the displayed values will not be applied to the current session unless you also press the OK button.

This dialog box is displayed by selecting the Units for Defective Units and Defects Per Unit menu item from the ~~Options~~ menu.
