DOE Window
The DOE window is used to generate data for designed experiments designed in other packages. You must first design the study in the other package and copy the design to the clipboard. Then in the DOE window:
- Click the Paste Design button. This will paste the design into the columns representing the input variables.
- If the data is not in the same order as the column headers, click the Reorder Inputs button to display the Reorder Inputs dialog box for reordering the column headers.
- Next click the Generate Data button to add the data to the columns for the output variables.
- Finally click the Copy Data button to place the data in the clipboard where it can be pasted into the other program.
The DOE window is displayed by selecting the Generate Data button on the Control Panel window and by selecting the Generate Data for DOE menu item on the Data menu or the associated toolbar button
Right clicking on the window displays the following popup menu:
There are menu items to print and copy the data. The Print and Copy menu items on the File menu and toolbar perform the same function.
Closing the window results in the design and data being deleted.
