Enter License Dialog Box





Used to enter license information into software so that it can continue to be used after the 30-day free trial period.  The user name and license code must first be obtained by purchasing a license to Simulator from the Simulator home page Variation.com/sim on the Help menu.  Simulator automatically checks the clipboard for the license information when the program starts and when this dialog box is opened.  If it finds the license information it automatically completes the licensing process.  The controls are:

    User Name edit box: The user name under which the software is licensed must be entered exactly as provided to you in the license notice including spacing, punctuation and capitalization.
    License Code edit box: The license code provided must be entered exactly as provided.  It consists entirely of digits and upper-case letters.

Once the user name and license code have been entered, click the OK button or press the Enter key to process the license information.  If the information entered is incorrect, an error message will be displayed.  Otherwise the license information is accepted and saved.  The software may now be used by the licensed party.  The licensing information will be displayed in the About dialog box and the splash screen that is displayed when the software is started up. 

Clicking the Cancel button or pressing the Esc key instead cancels the licensing process and closes the dialog box.  The License dialog box is displayed by clicking the Enter License button on the License Manager dialog box.
